Music inspired by and related to the cosmos, space exploration, and concepts involved with examining unknown realms. Sounds drawn in concert to illuminate our curiosities and excite the desire to gain wisdom from the mysteries of our universe. Formulas will be initiated from the stage, enacting the scientific method and mystical equations through musical compositions. Structure and improvisation coincide as a trio of musicians communicate through reaction to challenges posed in the musical moments. Featuring compositions by Casey Butler, Sun Ra, John Coltrane, and Wadada Leo Smith.
